All products installed by Wizard Windows & Doors are warranted by the manufacturer subject to conditions contained in the manufacturer's warranty.

DOOR PANELS

Woodgrain and Smooth Fiberglass Doors:
Limited warranty of ten (10) years on smooth and woodgrain fibreglass doors. A door warpage is only considered a defect when the deflection exceeds 8mm or 5/16.

Steel Insulated Doors:
Limited warranty of ten (10) years on steel doors. A door warpage is only considered a defect when the deflection exceeds 8mm or 5/16.
All 8-foot slabs require multipoint locking systems or the warranty will be void.

GLASS SEALED UNITS

Five (5) years from the date manufactured against seal failure and pressure cracks. Using harmful solvents or abrasive materi­als to clean sealed units or painted surfaces will void the warranty.

PAINTED AND STAINED SURFACES

Stain Finish on Woodgrain Fiberglass Door:

Five (5) year warranty on stained fibreglass door panels against defects such as blistering or peeling. Uneven colouring is due to varying surface finish and is not classified as a defect in work­manship. Natural fading or damage done due to using harmful solvents or abrasive materials to clean any stained surface is not warranted. Due to normal weathering stained fibreglass products are subject to varying degrees of fading. The fading is beyond our control and does not constitute a defect. Therefore, we cannot guarantee an exact colour match in the event a component or product is required or replaced. All fibreglass doors must be resealed every two (2) years or the warranty is void.

Paint Finish on Smooth Fiberglass and Steel Insulated Doors:

Five (5) year warranty on painted smooth fibreglass and steel insulated doors against defects such as blistering, peeling and/ or flaking. Natural fading or damage done due to using harm­ful solvents or abrasive materials to clean any painted surface is not warranted. Due to normal weathering coloured, vinyl prod­ucts are subject to varying degrees of fading. The fading is be­yond our control and does not constitute a defect. Therefore we cannot guarantee an exact colour match in the event a component or product is required or replaced.

DOOR SWEEPS:

One (1) year warranty on door sweeps (under normal wear and tear conditions).

GENERAL EXCLUSIONS/LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY:

1. Accident, abuse, misuse or neglect in handling, operation, finishing, operation or maintenance.
2. Any third party product installed on top of the Product, including storm/screen doors, exterior grilles, etc.

Patio doors' vinyl frame and sash components are warranted against blistering and peeling, flaking, and corroding for a period of twenty five (25) years. All hardware is warranted against defects for two (2) years. Insulating glass panels are warranted against seal failure for twenty (20) years. Workmanship and mini blinds are warranted for a period of five (5) years. Exterior paint warranted for a period of ten (10) years to remain free of peeling, cracking and major discoloration not caused by exposure to sunlight heat, noxious or abrasive materials.

Damages resulting from the following are excluded from coverage under this Warranty:

1. Exposure to harmful pollutants, the corrosion of non-vinyl product or components due to the proximity to coastal areas, excessive thermal or physical stress and/or high humidity levels such as but not limited to improper storage.
   
2. Any damage to the window or window components due to the settlement of building structure.
   
3. Any damage caused by wind, hail, lightning or other incidents of weather, natural disasters or severe weather conditions.
   
4. Minor imperfections in windows and doors that do not affect the product's structural integrity or obscure vision.
   
5. Any window which has been repaired or modified by any person other than a factory-trained service technician or authorized Wizard Windows representative or any Non-factory add-on or replacement parts added to the Windows(s)
   
6. Any defect, malfunction or failure to perform, which has occurred because of unreasonable used, improper application of the failure to perform reasonable or necessary maintenance, accidental damage and negligence, and improper care.
   
7. If products with visible defect(s) after goods have been picked up or delivered and are installed with such defects, but not limited to scratches, dents, and cracks and/or damaged components without notifying Wizard Windows prior to installation.
   
8. Condensation on windows, which may occur as a natural result of humidity within the house or building area. Please refer to https://www.nrcan.gc.ca for condensation prevention tips.
   
   

Wizard Windows and Doors reserves the right to discontinue or modify any of its products without prior notice to the original purchaser. In the event of such discontinuance and / or change, Wizard Windows and Doors shall not be liable to the original purchaser. In the extreme circumstance a product covered by this warranty be unavailable, Wizard Windows and Doors reserves the right to substitute a product of equal quality or price, according the Wizard Windows and Doors's sole discretion.

Wizard Windows and Doors, in addition to any manufacturers warranties, offer a 2 Year Workmanship Warranty*(exclusions apply).

This warranty is offered only on products or services supplied and installed by Wizard Windows and Doors. The warranty on the products installed will be in accordance with the specific manufacturer of that respective product.

The warranty offered excludes all storm doors, doorknobs, locking devices, caulking or accent, and accessory hardware as they are subject to weather and seasonal changes resulting in required regular maintenance and adjustment. No warranty on framing and cutouts. No warranty on seal units installed separately.

Wizard Windows and Doors will not be liable for and this warranty does not apply or extend to all defects or damages as a result of vandalism, abuse, accident, neglect, natural disasters, improper handling, inappropriate maintenance, or any item that would be considered to be a normal periodic adjustment. This warranty does not apply to defects or damage caused by improper ventilation, heating or condensation due to excess humidity. This warranty will cover the remedy of the faulty workmanship and does not cover any incidental or coincidental work caused by such.
